Alexander Kochubey was born in the city of Novocherkassk in 1956. From 1973 to 1979 he studied at the Art Studio of Novocherkassk, Zakharin workshop, studio of Alexander Kalmykov. Since 1974 he participated in regional exhibitions in Rostov region (Russian Federation). Member of the Society of Artists Studio of Kuinji since 1985, in the city of Mariupol. Since 1988 he participated in exhibitions of Society Slavic culture, the
city of Riga, Latvia. Member of the Union of Independent Artists "Prologue" since 1996, in the city of Zhitomir. He participated in 3 regional exhibitions. Participated in the exhibition "The Artist and The Sea" of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since Participated in exhibitions Fund "Renaissance" since 2001, in the city Kiev. His works were bought by the museums of Mariupol, Riga, Leningrad (Saint Petersburg) and
private collectors from Spain, Asia and America.
